In this episode of WaveCast, host Eugenie Jacobsen welcomes back Master of Science students Ashley Oates and Gabby Perugini, alongside new guests Laure Vilgrain, a post-doctoral fellow working with Dr. Maxime Geoffroy, and Charlie Nakashuk. Together, they dive into the latest expedition aboard the Canadian Coast Guard vessel Amundsen through the Labrador Sea and the Canadian Arctic.
In our debut episode, Eugenie explored the experiences and research conducted during the Amundsen expedition. Now, we’re revisiting those projects to discuss how they’ve progressed, the ecologically significant regions they’ve studied, and the impact of their findings.
This episode dives into the key research questions driving their work, the insights gained during their respective legs of the cruise, and the memorable highlights from their journeys.
We’d love to hear from you!
